ICN GRLZ CLUB: GENERAL RULES & REGULATIONS

1.       Each meeting will start with Qura’an and Dua’a.

2.      Please encourage your daughters to have Wudu’ prior to coming to ICN as we will be praying together insha’a Allah.

3.      Discuss the handouts sent home with your girls.  We will try to distribute any information that will help reinforce what we talked about during our meetings.

4.      Please be on time.  We want to be good role models for our daughters and teach them to respect and appreciate time. Disrupting the meeting is not fair for those who were on time.

5.      Membership and Medical forms need to be filled out prior to attending any ICN activity.  These forms can be found on our website.  You can also pick up the forms at ICN. If your daughter has any food allergies, please list all foods regardless of whether or not the ingredients are mentioned. 

6.      Once membership forms are completed and registration fee is paid, your daughter will receive a badge.  Please encourage them to wear their badges as this will help us communicate better with them.  It will also help them form new friendships and get to know each other better. Badges will be collected at the end of each evening.

7.      Girls less than 8 years old cannot participate for good reasons.  The only exception is if the mother is volunteering for a certain event and is present at all times. Please respect this as we will not be allowed to make any other exceptions.

8.      Please remember that our meetings are conducted at the Masjid.  Therefore, all girls should observe the Islamic dress code. 

9.      We encourage everyone to list their email address on the Membership Forms.  We will send out group emails for various activities.  If any changes take place, you will be notified via email.

10.  Please RSVP for each event. This will help us plan how many people we need to cover the event.  We want to make sure that the girls are taken care of while they are in our care.  We also want to make sure that each girl will have a snack and/or activity materials. 

11.   Any ideas, comments, and/or suggestions are very much encouraged.  We cannot promise that we will implement everything as we want to do what is good for the majority.  We do value your input and opinions.  However, be constructive when you criticize.  If you have a way of making things better for everyone, we would love to hear from you.  Offer alternatives with your opinions.

12.   None of the ICN Personnel are being paid for any of these activities.  Everyone you come across is a volunteer who wants to benefit our community.  With the help of Allah (swt) and your help, we would like to build strong healthy Islamic families.
