Curriculum

A curriculum for Kindergarten, Pre-Kindergarten and Pre-School will, Insha’allah, be provided to the parents by the first day of school.  Parents will be informed of any revision and changes via special bulletins.

At ICN Full-Time School, providing an Islamic environment and the teaching of Islamic morals and manners will, Insha’allah, over-shadow all educational activities.

Curricular Activities

Students learn very basic Qur’anic Arabic and English language.  Geography, Science and Math are taught through demonstrative techniques and class participation in projects.

Islamic and Qur’anic Studies include Islamic morals and manners, memorization of Dua’s and short surahs of the Qur’an, the practice of wudu and salaat, five pillars of Islam and stories from the seerah of the prophets.

Children will learn the Islamic spirit of sharing, caring and of donating towards worthy causes.

Extra-curricular Activities

Children are taken on frequent field trips that include visits to the Library, Children’s Museum, nearby parks and farms.  They also enjoy Eid Parties and participate in Hajj simulation.  KG and Pre-KG students check out books on the Library Day once a week.  You will be informed by written notice when these activities are scheduled.
